On Saturday, June 7, 2014, ghostheads worldwide are getting together (in a spiritual sense of course) to watch Ghostbusters for the 30th Anniversary. Yeah, the anniversary is on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Saturdays are less stressful? The 7 can accommodate all the time zones more?
If you’re interested in this worldwide synchronization of Ghostbusters, a Facebook page has been set up.
If you can’t physically or metaphysically get together with other ghostheads to participate and watch Ghostbusters on June 7 or June 8, I personally feel watch it within a week of the anniversary. Or anytime before June 8. And anytime after until December 31, 2014. Or as much as you want.
If you want to celebrate Ghostbusters II 25th anniversary, watch it sometime on or around June 16, 2014. If you’re from northeast NJ and know like myself Ghostbusters II wasn’t in theaters until November 3, 1989, you have more then one occasion to watch Ghostbusters II. Either way, their is New Years Eve.
