In May I found through an auction listing a vintage Back Off Man~I’m A Ghostbuster sticker. This was an officially licensed sticker from Sandylion. Even if the name isn’t immediately familiar, if you had a sticker collection, its a safe bet it was made by Sandylion.
Sandylion, as an early Ghostbusters licensee produced at least two Ghostbusters stickers. The aforementioned “Back Off Man” and “This Property Protected By Ghostbusters.”
This Property Protected… was listed for sale through eBay with its location in the United Kingdom. Which is why this sticker has the international “no ghost” logo. Matthew Jordan from Ghostbusters Wiki edited the original listing image with a strong contrast and shared the like new image on Ghostbusters Wiki’s Facebook.
Who wouldn’t want everyone to know their property is protected by Ghostbusters? Yet, if you live in North America and been around Ghostbusters for 30 years, you’re pretty use to the original, finalized Ghostbusters logo. I took Matthew’s edited version and replaced the international “no ghost” logo as designed for Ghostbusters by Michael C. Gross. I didn’t replace the original copyright info, in part to give the image a cleaner look. Finally I aged the Ghostbusters logos for a vintage feel.
For personal use and enjoyment, Ghostbusters Inc. presents an updated “This Property Protected By Ghostbusters” sticker!
