Ghostbusters International Returning

Early last year I parted ways with our previous hosting company. One of the cons to that was losing our domain name (GBI Blog Post, February 4, 2015) of 10 years. GBI was manually rebuilt from the ground up. Without the domain, I felt a name change was in order to help scale back the full time job feel.

It worked well enough throughout 2015. It didn’t take that long when necessary to get back into some of the realism. It also helps that Word Press infrastructure connects to my network of sites pretty well.

I’ve enjoyed running “Ghostbusters Inc,” sorta missed Ghostbusters International. The two can go together. Their were times I wanted the site to be more GBI then GB Inc.

With a mini series from IDW coming in the next month called Ghostbusters International and 2016 being the year of the first new Ghostbusters movie since June 16, 1989 now was the time. Continue reading “Ghostbusters International Returning” →

Ghostbusters International 2015 In Review

Ghostbusters International’s Word Press monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for GBI. Thank you to everyone who visited and supported us post GHOSTBUSTERS™ 30th Anniversary and GHOSTBUSTERS II™ 25th Anniversary.

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 34,000 times in 2015. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 13 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Anovos To Make Licensed Ghostbusters Merchandise

Costume and prop replica company Anovos, known for their star trekking war merchandise recently announced they’ll be producing Ghostbusters costumes or uniforms along with collectibles, prop kits and to scale prop replicas.

What will that mean to ghostheads? Anovos Productions LLC anticipated our questions and created a F.A.Q.

Ghostbusters 2016 Promotional Imagery

While their was some big to do about a war movie that takes place in space Sony Pictures continued promotion for their upcoming GHOSTBUSTERS™ (2016) movie.

They sent Troy Benjamin (Ghostbusters HQ) and Chris Stewart (Proton Charging) the first in movie promotional image to their respective sites.

Ghosts from Our Past: Both Literally and Figuratively: A Study of the Paranormal

In the upcoming GHOSTBUSTERS™ (2016) movie, Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig) and Abby L. Yates (Melissa McCarthy) wrote a book titled Ghosts from Our Past: Both Literally and Figuratively: A Study of the Paranormal.

We’re sure by now that print run was finished. With Ghostbusters (2016) about to let ghostheads into an upcoming Ghostbusters story, the book is going back into circulation. And its “newly revised and somewhat updated!”

Cryptozoic Entertainment Ghostbusters Trading Cards

Earlier this year Cryptozoic Entertainment who recently released Ghostbusters: The Board Game (Ecto-Containment Blog Post, October 29, 2015) had basically announced Ghostbusters trading cards were on their way (Ghostbusters Inc. Blog Post, February 13, 2015) this year.

Quality Ghostbusters products take time and original release dates sometimes need to be pushed ahead. Fortunately and unfortunately that will be the situation with Cryptozoic’s upcoming Ghostbusters trading cards.

With November coming to an end and turkeys breathing a sigh of relief Insight Editions and Amazon have gave ghostheads a first look as the Tobin’s Spirit Guide (abridged) cover.
