During that super football game where some of us think something mysterious happened, Netflix show Stranger Things aired a commercial with the previously talked about (GBI Blog Post, February 3, 2017) Ghostbusters teaser.
Now Entertainment Weekly has an [Warning: Possible Spoilers] article about Stranger Things season 2 plot. With a clue for ghostheads and Stranger Things fans about why Mike, (Finn Wolfhard) Dustin, (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) are dressed in fairly accurate Ghostbusters costumes for the time.

Netflix show Stranger Things, with season 1 taking place in 1983 in part is also a tribute to “real” ’80s entertainment nostalgia. Ghosheads wondered if Stranger Things could take a break long enough from their seriousness to mention Ghostbusters when they get to 1984. After revealing packaging art (Ecto-Containment Blog Post, February 2, 2017) for their upcoming Ghostbusters play sets, Playmobil (US) shared photos of there booth from an international toy fair. Which we assume was London Toy Fair. As there isn’t an intern around, their isn’t really a reason to check.
