Ghostbusters: ATC Concept Art

gbsatcopentrapconceptart

Senior Illustrator Shae Shatz worked on Ghostbusters: Answer The Call concept art. Recently Shae Shatz shared twenty Ghostbusters: ATC illustrations at the Ghostbusters section of her site.

From Shae Shatz:

GHOSTBUSTERS WAS AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH A GREAT GROUP OF TALENT. UPON WORKING WITH PRODUCTION DESIGNER JEFFERSON SAGE, WE QUICKLY FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING A VISUAL LANGUAGE FOR THE GHOSTBUSTERS EQUIPMENT. STARTING WITH THE RAT TRAP, WE WERE SEARCHING FOR SOLUTIONS THAT WOULD SUPPORT GHOSTBUSTERS MODEST ROOTS THROUGH OBJECTS THAT WERE BUILT OUT OF REPURPOSED AND OFTEN HEAVY-DUTY ELECTRONICS. WITH THESE PILLARS IN MIND FELLOW ILLUSTRATOR ANNIS NAEEM AND I WERE COLLABORATING CLOSELY TO CREATE CONSISTENCY BETWEEN THE OBJECTS HE WAS DESIGNING AND THE ONES I WAS MAKING.

With respect to Shae Shatz we won’t share any additional concept images at our site. We highly encourage ghostheads to spend some time at Shae Shatz Creative.

Ghostbusters ATC Roleplaying ID Cards

pattytolanrpgidcard

In 1986 West End Games published Ghostbusters™ A Frightfully Cheerful Roleplaying Game. One of the things this one of a kind Ghostbusters game book came with were ID cards for the Ghostbusters, Janine, and Dana. Sorry Louis.

That was pretty much it, (that I know of) until a new Ghostbusters movie was released during Summer 2016.

If you or your RPG buddies have been waiting to add the newer Ghostbusters and didn’t because of lack of equipment cards the wait is finally over.

Ghostbusters RPG Cover Art

Artist Jennell Jaquays, painted cover art for West End Games Ghostbusters™ A Frightfully Cheerful Roleplaying Game supplemental books Pumpkin Patch Panic and Apokermis Now!

On October 31, 2015, (um we were pretty busy) Jennell Jaquays shared her two cover paintings. To this day her Apokermis Now art is still one of the weirdest pieces of art I’ve ever encountered.

Lately there have been reports of mysterious noises, strange sightings and floating pieces of furniture in the PLAYMOBIL universe. Green slime started to appear everywhere! These inexplicable phenomena caused quite a stir and many speculations – even the police were at a loss to explain them. Up-to-date accounts seem to verify, ghosts are responsible for the commotion: the Ghostbusters™ Firehouse sounds the alarm! Luckily, rescue is at hand as the Ghostbusters reach any location in a heartbeat with their Ecto-1. Whether Slimer or Terror Dogs, the iconic parapsychologists can track down any ghost with their PKE meters, no matter how well it is hiding. With the Ghostbusters’ equipment, ghosts can be discovered and captured anywhere from the play room to the kitchen cupboard, and even in the attic. But wait! The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is still haunting the city…will the Ghostbusters manage to defeat their strongest enemy to date?

Ghosts everywhere beware! The PLAYMOBIL Ghostbusters are supported by countless little Ghostbusters in the real world and with their proton wands and traps at the ready, the hunt for ghosts can now commence!

Heide Park Resort Ghostbusters Content

Pascal Hendriks, an honorary Ghostbusters: Dutch Division (Facebook) member visited Heide Park Ghostbusters 5D (German Language) ride. Pascal filmed and shared the Ghostbusters area from Heide Park (German Language).

This is just the exterior Ghostbusters part and not the actual 5D ride. Which wouldn’t be in 5D if we could just watch a video, spoiling a ride experience for ghostheads.
