Diamond Select Toys will be releasing Ghostbusters (2016) Minimates 2 packs this summer.

We’re getting a new Ghostbusters movie, with a new Ghostbusters team, and now we’re getting new Ghostbusters Minimates! The new Ghostbusters team is presented in four new two-packs, including Erin Gilbert with Jillian Holtzman, Abby Yates with Rowan’s Ghost, Patty Tolan with Slimer and a rare, one-per-case set of Slimed Patty with a ghost to be revealed! Diamond Select Toys To Unveil New Ghostbusters Collectibles

At next week’s Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) Diamond Select Toys will have a panel titled Gotham, Ghostbusters and Civil War: The World of Diamond Select Toys. At their booth (#815) they’ll have plenty of new prototypes on display. Naturally this includes Ghostbusters. Our educated guess is we’ll see Ghostbusters Selects Series 3. Along with possible Ghostbusters (2016) merchandise. Along with what we’ve known about over the last year.

NYTF 16: Diamond Select Toys

Last weekend was Toy Fair New York. Or as most have called, including us New York Toy Fair.  Quite of a few of our licensees are exhibiting our mutually beneficial wares. Our Ghostbusters franchise members have been in attendance to provide announcements and photos.

Diamond Select Toys Announces Ghostbusters 2016 Merchandise

Zach aka DSTZach from Diamond Select Toys announced on the company’s Art Asylum site that Diamond Select Toys/Art Asylum will be producing Ghostbusters 2016 merchandise.

When we originally wrote about DST Ghosts In Glowing Slime we did notice the small figures practically beside it. It did remind us of something familiar from childhood. Can’t blame us (or you can) for not realizing a toy company would basically make Ghostbusters army men.

New York Toy Fair: More About Ghostbusters Select Figures

The New York City Ghostbusters were also at New York Toy Fair. Where they took more new Ghostbusters merchandise photos. And as we and Ecto-Containment have done in recent years, written multi-part blog posts about the products.

When we didn’t know about that, we reached out through Twitter to ask Diamond Select Toys for additional information about whether their will be an Egon and Peter Ghostbusters Select.

Idle Hands (Flickr) have taken a whole digital roll (remember those?) of detailed Ghostbusters Select photos from New York Toy Fair. Instead of uploading the remaining 13 photos, we wanted to at least “mention” it and thank Paul Nicholasi for not only taking these detailed photos, other NYTF Ghostbusters merchandise.

Ilde Hands’ (Flickr) has shared photos of Diamond Select Toys upcoming Ghostbusters ‘kitchenware.’ Previously DST had released a silicone Slimer Jello or cake mold and a “no ghost” logo silicone ice tray.

When you’re reaching for a cold one (its Coca~Cola time!) need a bottle opener, and can’t find that kinda plain one, why not use one or all (Important Safety Tip: Not at the same time) of these Ghostbuster bottle openers! New York Toy Fair: Diamond Select Toys Ghosts In Glowing Slime

There is a Diamond Select logo on the middle of the display box. However, I’d like more pictures of this too, and none are showing up online -yet-.

I can see it now, I didn’t notice DST’s logo on the box art earlier today.

Italian Ghostbusters news site GhostbustersMania (Facebook) shared the above image on their Facebook page. It appears the “Ghosts in Glowing Slime” are canisters (or Ecto Containment Units) of toy slime with a ghost inside, representative of Ghostbusters.

The term ghost is used loosely here as we could get a Stay-Puft, a Terror Dog, and even a Gozer! Naturally we get our star Slimer along with a library and a cab driver ghost.

When we know more, we’ll write again.

The Fwoosh took pictures of the new Diamond Select Toys Ghostbusters figures on display at New York Toy Fair. Either by personal choice or maybe what was ready to display the two figures on display are Winston and Ray. With the photos The Fwoosh took we’re already seeing nice details with the body language, uniforms, and equipment.
