Ilde Hands’ (Flickr) has shared photos of Diamond Select Toys upcoming Ghostbusters ‘kitchenware.’ Previously DST had released a silicone Slimer Jello or cake mold and a “no ghost” logo silicone ice tray.
When you’re reaching for a cold one (its Coca~Cola time!) need a bottle opener, and can’t find that kinda plain one, why not use one or all (Important Safety Tip: Not at the same time) of these Ghostbuster bottle openers! Tom Spina Designs, who designed a CGI Slimer for a Radio Shack (GB Inc. Blog Post) Super Bowl ad last year, then restored an original Terror Dog statue (GB Inc. Blog Post) continues his custom Ghostbusters reproductions with Slimer. Continue reading “Tom Spina Designs Slimer”
At last years New York Toy Fair we wrote about World Tech Toys. An electronic toy company known for licensing popular characters and basically adding a radio controlled helicopter element. It wasn’t clear in February how World Tech Toys could make sense of making Ghostbusters action figures fly. We also still don’t know if they completely created new action figures for this feat. Less then a year later three of the four Ghostbusters, Slimer, and Stay-Puft are ready for take off. Continue reading “Radio Controlled Ghostbusters Available Now”
Dr. Ray Stantz was at our original and number one Firehouse HQ transforming the real Ghostbusters central for Christmas. Once decorating was complete, one of the rookies was getting ready to take a picture when a certain green ghost had to make an appearance. Which at least startled this rookie. The experience gave Dr. Stantz a good laugh.
Pictures after the jump. Continue reading “Ghostbusters Firehouse Gets Festive”
Titan Merchandise, a collectible company who makes vinyl mini figures posted a teaser image letting ghostheads know 12 (yes 12) GHOSTBUSTERS™ vinyl mini figures were coming to add to your collection on May 31, 2015. Continue reading “Titan Merchandise Ghostbusters Vinyl Figures Tease”
The talented and creative folks over at Zombie Pumpkins (nice) have created Ghostbusters pumpkin patterns for Ghostbusters™ 30th Anniversary as part of their ‘Heroic Headliners.’
Also new for 2014 is a pumpkin pattern for Slimer, which is part of their ‘Movie Monsters’ section. Kinda for Ghostbusters 25th Anniversary Zombie Pumpkin created the big, fluffy, sticky guy Mr. Stay-Puft.

Asda, a grocery store chain in the United Kingdom is selling 30th Anniversary Ghostbusters t-shirts. The above t-shirts were seen and shared by ghosthead Ian Dawes. The “no ghost” logo t-shirt appears to be the same design (minus the white ‘GHOST BUSTERS’ text) that was used on the gray t-shirts Australian retailer Primark had (could still be) been selling. Naturally the Slimer design comes from how Slimer looked in Ghostbusters.™ Which seems to work better for this overall design. A similar design from Ghostbusters II™ probably could have worked just as well.
After this picture was shared ghostheads Martin Dootson and Gemma Billingham commented that Asda is selling additional Ghostbusters t-shirts. Interestedly enough one shirt uses the deleted Fort Detmerring photo ghostheads are familiar with. Another features a more retro The Real Ghostbusters Slimer t-shirt. I was checking Ghostbusters merchandise for price comparisons. While I was on Ghostbusters Store I saw the above new t-shirts. I hadn’t seen it posted or talked about by ghostheads at that time. Instead of immediately posting here I left a Facebook post with Robin Shelby. If anyone should have one of these, its definitely her. Robin Shelby “earned it.” 🙂
Each of these two Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters “donut” shirts glow in the dark. We’re not sure with Slimer why the artist didn’t just use the image of Slimer (portrayed by Robin Shelby during Ghostbusters II™) that both Sony and Krispy Kreme use on ghostbusters.com and is part of the Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters promotion until October 31, 2014.
Each t-shirt can currently be pre-ordered and will ship before or by October 27, 2014.

Our friends at Krispy Kreme have set up a Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters™ promotional site known as Krispy Skremes. We love that name and maybe wish we had come up with it in a meeting…first. Ok, we didn’t, with a little more time we might have.
Krispy Skremes is a location based site to locate your nearest Krispy Kreme. Using your “P.K.E Meter” and Google maps (Ghostbusters HQ) you can scan for escaped ghosts! Why did the ghosts escape? They’re after Krispy Kreme donuts of course!

David Chase from Beyond The Marquee visited a local Krispy Kreme to experience and try Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary donuts. As he was “taste testing” the official donuts anyhow, David Chase wrote a review.
