Ghostbusters 2016 Jillian Holtzmann Specs

In Ghostbusters (2016) Kate McKinnon plays Jillian Holtzmann, a nuclear engineer, munitions expert, and proton wrangler. As part of her job she wears a unique pair of safety/sunglasses.

Now O’Riginals Trading Co. will be making a limited amount (150 pairs) of the Sterling 23 Spectre, priced at $87.00 USD. They’ll be released on June 15, 2016.

Are you afraid of Ghosts? You won’t be with The Sterling 23 Spectre. Are you a Cosplayer of GB? The Sterling Spectre will add that authentic finishing touch. Using the same Sterling 23 chasis these are not a ‘cheap’ throwaway pair of Specs.  Made from lightweight durable stainless steel and highest quality Polarized Polycarbonate lenses the Sterling 23 are tough as nails.

This Run of Spectres is limited to 150 and will be delivered before the movie release.

This week, the first (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, March 3, 2016) Ghostbusters (2016) international (as in world, not the site) trailer was unveiled by Sony’s international branches and partners. At first sorta, as the Ukraine/Russia version wasn’t suppose to be out on the interwebs. It was taken down and if it hasn’t been released yet, it will be in due time. That didn’t stop ghostheads and other sites from taking screen caps. Why would we need more screen caps? This first international trailer featured additional footage. If you didn’t get a chance to view it and in case its also in other international trailers we won’t quite spoil it. Think Marvel’s Thor and concert venues.

Ghostbusters 2016 In Movie Site

During yesterday’s on-line trailer premiere (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, March 3, 2016) a hidden web site address appeared as a scientific equation quite a few employees around here understand maybe too well.

A fan base aside for a moment, its easy to miss it if upon a few viewings. Its been three decades and we’re still finding things within both Ghostbusters movies. While checking out a nerd culture site they had a short video that’s a behind the scenes of Ghostbusters (2016). Talking new Ghostbusters science.

Ghostbusters 2016 Trailer To Premiere On Ellen

Tomorrow, March 3, 2016 the long awaited Ghostbusters (2016) trailer (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, February 14, 2016) will make its debut. Until yesterday ghostheads and paid corporate types didn’t know what Sony Pictures Entertainment had up their Ghost Corps (Facebook) sleeves.

On this promo page for Ellen Degeneres Show we can see that Ghostbusters (2016) first trailer will make its world premiere. With at least special guest Kristen Wiig. We would also think Paul Feig. We don’t know for sure as sometimes interns aren’t where they’re suppose to be.

If you aren’t familiar with the channel and time for Ellen Degeneres Show, their site has additional information.

Diecasts Remote Ecto-1s

The Diecast Company out of The Netherlands has a pre-order for an upcoming remote controlled die cast Ecto-1. Along with pre-orders for Ghostbusters (2016) Ecto-1s. One is also remote controlled. The second Ghostbusters (2016) Ecto-1 may be for a slightly younger ghosthead.

Hostess Key Lime Slime Twinkies

As I’m sure most know these days, Twinkies and Ghostbusters have synergy. If you’re a ghosthead you can’t quite have one without the other. During the rise of Gozer, my employers had some bad habits. For Dr. Egon Spengler, it was snack foods. During a key moment to explain “the bad” they and NYC were on the verge on, Dr. Spengler had a Hostess Twinkie. Coincidental or not it made for a great analogy about what was to come, a 100ft marshmallow man from another snack food empire, the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Company.

Unfortunately their was never a cross promotional tie-in, like with X-Men: Days Of Future Past. Ghostbusters, Hostess Twinkies, and Stay-Puft’s marshmallows became the “best of friends.”

During Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary I tweeted Hostess to ask and to have a little fun if we’d have a Ghostbusters Twinkie promotion. They had a great sense of humor about it and were open to working with Sony/Columbia. At the time I’d hope we’d see something for Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary.
