Ghostbusters International Franchise Check In 2021

Believe it or not it’s been three years since someone in this corporate glass (GBI Page) behemoth has written a post about franchise check ins. Hope your franchise paid those fees! Richard or some other web monkey has replied to requests to be added somewhere in our Locations (GBI Page) pages. Or quietly updated our Master Franchise List within the busy schedules.

Within a week of Ghostbusters Afterlife (Official Page) theatrical release in the US,* it was the time in 2021 to check all existing Franchise pages listed at Ghostbusters International.

*Your country may vary.

Some defunct website links were removed. Including Facebook pages that seemed to have vanished. In a (probably) future update someone at this building will better organize franchise links.

What we’re asking franchisees is basically to let us know how we, your clients, and partners in your community can access your web presence. Please check your correct geographic location. If your page has moved or your franchise/Ghostbusters group isn’t listed, please let us know.

Site News: GBI Is Across Your Cities

Ghostbusters International and an affiliated franchise are most likely already in your city. And easily accessible through your internet or telecommunications provider. As its been a number of years since GBI as a company and club has had a domain name, the time is right for GBI to not just have a dot wordpress dot com url.

It’s 2020, twenty twenty. Let that sink in. The GHOSTBUSTERS™ franchise celebrates it’s 36th anniversary by welcoming a continuation and a sequel of the original films with Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Obligatory plug: Coming to theaters on July 10, 2020. Directed by Jason Reitman. And all a new Ghostbusters film will bring to ghostheads.

I’ve wanted GBI to have a new domain name, it had to be the “right one.” And personally it had to feel right as well. I didn’t need to just celebrate the 35th anniversary by also having a domain name again for GBI.

This year it’s better early on to have a new domain name for Ghostbusters International, for Ghostbusters: Afterlife premiere, theatrical releases, and home video releases. With that, in digital text Ghostbusters International new dot com is:

Merchandise News: Ghostbusters Employee Welcome Kit

If you’re a Ghostbuster, you already have a “employee welcome kit.” Whether you’ve been part of a Ghostbusters franchise for 35 years or 5 min, Ghostbusters International has all you really need to prove how official you already are.

You know, to name a few examples. What if you want a more physical kit? Which we suppose could also be a handy collectible. Finally (hopefully) Icon Heroes has ghostheads covered with their upcoming “Ghostbusters Employee Welcome Kit.”

Think Geek Celebrating Ghostbusters 35th Anniversay

Our own web monkey Richard Roy aka Spengs received an email today from Erica, Senior Manger of Marketing for Think Geek. She has been inviting franchise groups/ghostheads to Think Geek locations this Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Why would she use her valuable time to do that? It’s the 35th anniversary of Ghostbusters and they’re celebrating Ghostbusters within their retail locations!

Publicly not a lot has been shared about in how they’ll be celebrating Ghostbusters. We do know Think Geek will have an exclusive GHOSTBUSTERS™ Funko Pop. You’re a ghosthead and may already be in a group. You’ll probably have fun in air conditioning for free. Unless you buy stuff. And It’s GHOSTBUSTERS™. What other reason do you need to attend?

Think Geek’s individual locations Facebook pages have set up event information. If you’re in the US, “it won’t hurt you” to check if a Think Geek is having a Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary event.

Spirit Halloween Expanding Beyond Protons

This past Ghostbusters Day (GBI Blog Post, June 7, 2018) with Wizard World seemingly dominating Ghostbusters 34th into 35th anniversaries activities we way overlooked to post about Spirit Halloween then upcoming Ghostbusters prop toys (and other) merchandise. We are poor business ghostheads associates Spirit Halloween. We should have pumpkin spice food & beverages in the near future.

We’re finally making the time two months later to post about Spirit Ghostbusters prop toys, including the Spirit exclusive Ghost Trap. (GBI Blog Post, July 21, 2018)

Ghostbusters International Franchise Check In 2018

Update, February 17, 2018

We checked for the missing Ghostbusters groups today. I was able to update most of them world wide, even adding some new franchises in the process.

US: Kansas Ghostbusters groups, are ya out there?

Puerto Rico: We’re still concerned about ghostheads in Puerto Rico. We couldn’t specifically find En Puerto Rico, we’ve added Ghostbusters Puerto Rico.

England: We couldn’t confirm Pompey Ghostbusters. We’ve added Ghostbusters London. We’ve been able to confirm Ghostbusters of North Lanarkshire.

Scotland: We’ve added Ghostbusters of Scotland.

Australia: We couldn’t confirm Premier State Ghostbusters. We’ve added The Victorian Ghostbusters.

Toronto Ghostbusters Screening To Benefit SickKids Foundation

If you live in the Toronto, ON  area, GHOSTBUSTERS™ will be playing at Cineplex’s Colossus Theater on Thursday, October 30, 2014. Even better, all proceeds will be donated to the SickKids Foundation. Not one, but two showtimes! 7:00, 7:30 PM. While going to the Colossus Theater to see Ghostbusters and for charity is more then enough there will be more.
