Cinemark Knows What To Wear This Summer

ghostbusters2016title

Years before I chose to lose income working for Ghostbusters International (earlier in the 21 Century) I worked for more then one movie theater chain. While I can’t confirm either chain didn’t have movie t-shirts for walking human billboards up to my employment, we occasionally promoted movies and snack brands by wearing buttons.

Going into 15 years later Cinemark employees won’t need a button or a candy brand to promote Ghostbusters (2016). Continue reading “Cinemark Knows What To Wear This Summer”

sonyindoorparkmn

Possibly, we currently don’t know for sure. With that Ghostbusters banner “whoa, somebody’s coming.”

About two weeks ago we wrote about (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, January 17, 2016) how Ghostbusters Laser Tag Attraction currently at Six Flags Mexico may have other international locations going forward.

The Star Tribune out of Minnesota reports that a “Minnesota development group and Sony Pictures Consumer Products” are building an indoor amusement park. Which will have character themed “activities and experiences.”

The theme park is scheduled to break ground during Summer 2016 and is scheduled to open by the end of 2017.

Where will this pretty cool place be built? Will we need a passport? Continue reading “Ghostbusters Laser Tag Attraction Headed To Minnesota”

According to a Ghost Corps Facebook post from January 11, 2016 Ghostbusters laser tag adventures could be expanding to other parts of the world. Maybe we won’t need new passports after all.

Mattel Ghostbusters 2016 Prototype Figures

In November 2015 Sony Pictures VP of global consumer products, Mark Caplan talked about (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, November 11, 2015) Ghostbusters merchandise in the coming year. Naturally this includes the upcoming Ghostbusters 2016.

Figures from Mattel are forthcoming. Ghostheads didn’t quite know what the “new” team would like in toy form, until January 7, 2016.

Paul Feig, the director of Ghostbusters (2016) tweeted:

Our Mattel 6″ prototypes.

They were described as prototypes. I’m not quite sure what changes would need to be made, if any.
