New York Toy Fair: QMX Announces Q-Pop Ghostbusters

QMX, (Quantum Mechanics) makers of Q-Pop figures announced at New York Toy Fair they’ll be producing Ghostbusters Q-Pop figures. Q-Pop Ghostbusters Prototypes weren’t available, (hopefully for future cons) the above four concepts were. From first glance you might think QMX was prepearing a treatment for a new cartoon, perhaps with kid versions of the guys. If you ignore the fact Ray is smoking a cigarette. Which in itself today will be interesting to see if that makes the final version.

New 30th Anniversary Ecto-1 With Figures

Last Summer Matty Collector, Mattel’s adult collector brand showed off a potential ECTO-1 that could be pre-ordered with two 6″ Ghostbusters figures that would have had removable packs. Business decisions and probably a revaluation of the products caused this SDCC “unveiling” to be cancelled. Previously Mattel’s die cast brand, Hot Wheels Elite had released both ECTO-1 and ECTO-1A in multiple scales with varying degrees of detail and pricing.

Funko Pop! Vinyl Ghostbusters Figures

Funko, Ghostbusters license who makes vinyl figures has revealed most of what their Pop! Ghostbusters series will look like. I’m not that familiar with their brand as I haven’t really collected vinyl figures. Between their previous  Back To The Future figures and now Ghostbusters, that will have to change.
