Tested In-Depth Ghost Trap

testedindepthghostrap

Sean Charlesworth and Norman Chan from Tested posted a video talking about a new 3D printed Ghost Trap. (GBI Blog Post, March 10, 2016) While that could have been it, the guys who could have a new career at Ghostbusters International made a 30 minute video going to the in-depths (my humor isn’t what got me this job) of their 3D printed Ghost Trap.

We’ve shown you Sean’s Ghost Trap replica prop, but there’s a lot more to talk about in terms of the 3D-printed model’s individual components, parts design, and electronics that brings it alive. It’s a kit designed for 3D printing and assembly, after all. Sean and Jeremy explain how they collaborated on the lights and sounds on the trap, which are appropriately activated by the 3d-printed pedal!

If you have access to a capable 3D printer Tested has provided the files for creating your own working, (remember, it doesn’t really catch ghosts because of our IP and the training it takes) 3D Ghost Trap.

At next week’s Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) Diamond Select Toys will have a panel titled Gotham, Ghostbusters and Civil War: The World of Diamond Select Toys. At their booth (#815) they’ll have plenty of new prototypes on display. Naturally this includes Ghostbusters. Our educated guess is we’ll see Ghostbusters Selects Series 3. Along with possible Ghostbusters (2016) merchandise. Along with what we’ve known about over the last year.

The Making Of A Tested Ghost Trap

makingtested3dghostrap.png

A couple of the creative and intelligent folks at Tested (who aren’t busting myths) created a Ghostbusters/II Ghost Trap replica using computers, creativity, screws, (always need those) and a 3D printer.

Related: BaronVonJello 3D Ghost Trap (GBI Blog Post, January 8, 2015)

This 3D Ghost Trap was designed and built by Sean Charlesworth. It works too, in the look, feel, and sounds, not actually catching ghosts. Let’s face it, catching ghosts should only be done by trained professionals. Also we own the patents would never allow anyone that should come work for us to build an actual working Ghost Trap.

If you have access to a 3D printer, Sean’s files will be available at a later time, if they aren’t already.

Ghostbusters 2016 Official International Trailers

This week, the first (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, March 3, 2016) Ghostbusters (2016) international (as in world, not the site) trailer was unveiled by Sony’s international branches and partners. At first sorta, as the Ukraine/Russia version wasn’t suppose to be out on the interwebs. It was taken down and if it hasn’t been released yet, it will be in due time. That didn’t stop ghostheads and other sites from taking screen caps. Why would we need more screen caps? This first international trailer featured additional footage. If you didn’t get a chance to view it and in case its also in other international trailers we won’t quite spoil it. Think Marvel’s Thor and concert venues.

While one of the largest continents on Earth re-await a Ghostbusters 2016 trailer in their languages, Sony Pictures Entertainment did officially release trailers for the UK and Australia. Continue reading “Ghostbusters 2016 Official International Trailers”

Their had been talk with the addition of Ghostbusters (2016) (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, October 8, 2014) an animated movie could also be a part of Ghostbusters future. While not officially announced yet from Sony Pictures Animation, The Hollywood Reporter  well reported this week an animated movie has been in development and a director has been hired.

Fletcher Moules, whose been behind the Clash of Clans commercials has been hired to direct. Ivan Reitman who brought Ghostbusters down to earth, directed both films, and is a producer on Ghostbusters (2016) will be one of the producers.

Ghostheads don’t know yet what Ghostbusters (80s, Real, Extreme, (probably not) 2016, etc will be in a new animated movie, what the story will be, and really any animated details. Personally I’d like to see an animated movie with the Ghostbusters that began the franchise in 1984. I’m not saying it has to…

Corporate HQ On Site

gbilobbymaindesk

When Ghostbusters International was returning (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, December 31, 2015) one of the sections that hadn’t been around in recent years was our corporate space.

Sometime around when Dr. Venkman and I (he wrote it, I put it all together) created the Firehouse section it wasn’t suppose to be that long until the company created a section about our corporate HQ. The photos were taken, before they could be organized their were more timely updates and the world was predicted (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, February 14, 2016) to end.

With that behind us until the next paranormal threat, (probably will interrupt lunch) on Sunday the photos were organized and uploaded. GBI was updated along with its social media presence. Yesterday for example we were busy helping Cleanin’ Up The Town. (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, February 6, 2016) Continue reading “Corporate HQ On Site”

I wrote over at Ecto-Containment (actually on Christmas Day) about Anovos Productions LLC getting into the quality, high end Ghostbusters merchandise business. We hadn’t seen any photos of what’s to come until March 1, 2016.

Via Anovos Facebook page, they posted the following:

Ghostbusters 2016 In Movie Site

kennethphigginsabout.png

During yesterday’s on-line trailer premiere (Ghostbusters International Blog Post, March 3, 2016) a hidden web site address appeared as a scientific equation quite a few employees around here understand maybe too well.

A fan base aside for a moment, its easy to miss it if upon a few viewings. Its been three decades and we’re still finding things within both Ghostbusters movies. While checking out a nerd culture site they had a short video that’s a behind the scenes of Ghostbusters (2016). Talking new Ghostbusters science.

Before I had a chance to look into the video’s interwebs origins, Ghostbusters associate Paul Rudoff through Spook Central‘s Facebook page posted the site. Ghostheads everywhere could be on their periodic tables. Continue reading “Ghostbusters 2016 In Movie Site”
