Ghostbusters Technology Patents Surface

Even we knew it was a matter of time before GHOSTBUSTERS™ original patents would find their way on-line due in part to United States law and our successes. Not just with the study and removal of paranormal phenomenon, with outside marketing ventures.

While Ghostbusters Incorporated has known these patents have been ‘public record’ for quite some time, we certainly weren’t going to bring it to the public’s attention. Without proper understanding and training of such equipment, their can be a danger to oneself and the public.

NYCC: Diamond Select Toys Announces Ghostbusters Select

During New York Comic Con Diamond Select Toys, a Ghostbusters licensee known for their Ghostbusters Minimates announced during their panel new Ghostbusters collectibles.

Select Action Figures

  • 7″ Select Ghostbusters (my employers) figures.
  • They currently don’t know if they’ll make more or previous figures from their previous lines.

Electronic Vehicles

  • 1:15 Scale.
  • Most likely at least ECTO-1.

Minimates & Banks

  • More Ghostbusters Minimates.
  • Unless they’re considering expanding upon the Ghostbusters “universe,” we’re not sure yet what Ghostbusters Minimates Diamond Select Toys is considering.
  • With the banks, we could see additional character banks.

Other Categories In Development

  • Its above my pay grade to know what that means at the early stage. Maybe some kind of ‘prop toys?’

Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters T-Shirts

I was checking Ghostbusters merchandise for price comparisons. While I was on Ghostbusters Store I saw the above new t-shirts. I hadn’t seen it posted or talked about by ghostheads at that time. Instead of immediately posting here I left a Facebook post with Robin Shelby. If anyone should have one of these, its definitely her. Robin Shelby “earned it.” 🙂

Each of these two Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters “donut” shirts glow in the dark. We’re not sure with Slimer why the artist didn’t just use the image of Slimer (portrayed by Robin Shelby during Ghostbusters II™) that both Sony and Krispy Kreme use on ghostbusters.com and is part of the Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters promotion until October 31, 2014.

Each t-shirt can currently be pre-ordered and will ship before or by October 27, 2014.

Ghostbusters Voicemail PreRecorded Message

On September 15, 2014 we posted about a new GHOSTBUSTERS phone number Sony and Ghostbusters Incorporated set up at our original headquarters. Most clients and ghostheads have already heard Janine’s prerecorded message. Hearing a message is so 30 years ago.

As we knew the recording is important and we like to do this kind of thing, we paid someone at least 5 bucks to hold a camera and press record.

Ryan’s October Family Nights

Ovation Brands Ghostbuster Family Night

When ghostheads bought a copy of the Ghostbusters™ 30th Anniversary Blu-ray, included were savings for restaurant chains Ryan’s®, Hometown® Buffet, and Old Country Buffet®. What we didn’t really then is that every Thursday during October from 5-8 PM is October Family Night.

Our friends at Krispy Kreme have set up a Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters™ promotional site known as Krispy Skremes. We love that name and maybe wish we had come up with it in a meeting…first. Ok, we didn’t, with a little more time we might have.

Krispy Skremes is a location based site to locate your nearest Krispy Kreme. Using your “P.K.E Meter” and Google maps (Ghostbusters HQ) you can scan for escaped ghosts! Why did the ghosts escape? They’re after Krispy Kreme donuts of course!

Beyond The Marquee Reviews Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters Donuts
