New Press And Personal Ghostbusters Photos Added

Two new Press photos and one Personal photo from Ghostbusters™ have been added to their respective Photo pages. Ghostbusters Incorporated sends a special thanks to Columbia Pictures, owned by Sony Pictures and Beyond The Marquee.

The photo above comes from part of what became the montage. The scene was part of a longer conversation with the media and a way of free advertising. Below is part of the “cut” scene when a “street punk” is bothering Egon.

Playing Games: Hot Rods Of The Gods PDF

Back in February we made major updates to Ghostbusters Incorporated Media section, many which included Ghostbusters™ The Roleplaying Game. Up to then the only content we didn’t have completed was the supplemental book Hot Rods Of The Gods. We were working on the book before Earth moved closer to the Sun, at some point that work faded into the background until today.

We went back over and through the covers, supplemental material, and 48 pages to make sure they were like new. Similar to the roleplaying game itself this is the best version from GB Inc. we’ve ever had.

If we receive or find additional supplemental gaming books in the archives, they can be added to the site.

Ghostbusters II Photos

On August 28, we added Ghostbusters II™ concept and storyboard art to our Media section. That was just the beginning as we still had more then 50 photos to add to their respective personal, press, publicity, and filming pages. From earlier updates we wanted to have the pictures up realistically by Ghostbusters II™ release to Blu-ray on September 16, 2014. If we didn’t get to those updates until first week of November, that would have been ok too.

Quite a few countries already have had their 30th Anniversary sets released, which naturally includes Ghostbusters II.™ That’s a reason we worked on an unusually hot September Saturday. Fortunately the timing also works out in advance of the US Blu-ray release.

Ghostbusters II Concept Art & Storyboards

After updating GB Inc. with 30th Anniversary Photos this week, we’re beginning to put similar Ghostbusters II 25th Anniversary content on the site. Before you can have photos filmmakers with action and effects sequences need a visual way of presenting how a movie is going to come together. With both Ghostbusters™ films it was especially important as they’re representative of my employers personal and professional lives.

For Ghostbusters II 25th Anniversary year we’ve combed through the archives to put a collection of concept art and storyboards on Ghostbusters Inc. Art includes images of “Vigo” and the “Courtroom battle.” Storyboard art includes:

  1. Investigating First Ave (River Of Slime)
  2. Courtroom
  3. Museum
  4. Oscar Ghost Nanny
  5. Deleted Scenes

We’ll be adding Ghostbusters II personal, press, filming, and publicity photos in future updates.

GB Inc. Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Photos

On February 9, 2014 Ghostbusters Incorporated created a new Photos page in our Media section. Since then we’ve been gathering, organizing, and uploading (well mostly today) pictures going back before Ghostbusters as a company even existed! Too dramatic?

Originally we wanted to have at least the Ghostbusters™ pictures up before the actual US 30th Anniversary. Not all of the photos and pictures we’re using and want to use were organized until today, the week of Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary screenings. It still looks like we know what we’re doing. “Oh you’re good.” – Actual Customer Testimonial

Pictures and photos were organized into 4 separate sections:

What we’ve provided certainly isn’t everything that encompasses the roots of my employer. If we’re able to add more from the archives we’ll at least consider it.

Until then we’ll be working on the Ghostbusters II™ photos and pictures. While their isn’t a set date we’re hoping long before first week of November.

GB Inc. Media

Lack of news updates this month is partially attributed to working on site content. I could have posted smaller posts, I wanted to wait until a certain amount of content had been completed and uploaded. This was also occurring during a barrage of snow storms, changes to health insurance, and of course big Toy Fair news.

In the old incarnation of GBI, the majority of converted print media wasn’t available in PDF format. Basically because I didn’t know I already had software to combine multiple PDF files. Instead of just uploading separate files, through research, trial, and error, what is or was physical books became digital copies for the first time. With the later media I did more then combine PDF files. I’ll talk more about that in this post.

Documentation (Forms)

All previous GBI forms have been updated for GB Inc. These are the new changes.

  • “New Letterhead”
  • Franchise Application can be used for “internal” use within your group’s franchise or to even help start a franchise. It isn’t for “corporate” use so I can make your franchise official. Those days are over.
  • Dr. Venkman “welcome” letter has been updated to something that felt more natural, not just “corporate, universal.” I wasn’t always happy with the corporate letter for something that’s suppose to be “personal.”
  • GB Inc, 8 page contract was updated to remove Ghostbusters International and GBI. Replaced with GHOSTBUSTERS, Ghostbusters Incorporated, and GB Inc.

  • Converted to PDF file.

We’ve Moved To Better Quarters Off Campus

Going into 10 years of running and paying for a business package, it had been a long time coming to stop paying rising quarterly prices for domain names and web space. I probably should have done this 5 years ago. A lot has happened personally during a decade. It isn’t like the site is exactly needed in how the fan base and web technology has evolved. A small percentage of you may remember I had made GBI a new last year, during summer it ended up in a limbo state. I continued with Ghostbusters sites through Ecto-Containment, Ghostbusters NJ, and my personal collecting site, Rich Collectibles. Honestly I didn’t even know if I would continue with Ghostbusters International.
